Agave xylonocantha

A synonym for Agave xylonocantha from an early 1900's description was, Agave carchariodonta, a name to refer to their gnarly shark like teeth. Collectors & enthusiasts are most provoked by these freakish & variable teeth, in addition to their attractive sculpture-like forms. Agave xylonocantha is few leafed, solitary, or occasionally offsetting, and grows through several Mexican states from the Northeast into the middle of the country. Plants are currently in 5" & will be shipped bare root.
