Agave hiemiflora

Agave hiemiflora is from Chiapas, Mexico and Guatemala, where it grows on limestone slopes in oak woodland between 6500-7000'. I have seen dazzling green rosettes alongside Mex 157 growing up to 3' across and 2' high. Seldom seen in cultivation, I have plants growing in inland San Diego County, Ca. that have experienced lows in the high 20's without damage. Pic #2 is a young plant and pic #3 is an example of plants I can ship. Seed grown plants are currently in 5" & will be shipped bare root.
