I have spent the last fifteen years traveling the world to research, document, and learn all I can about Agaves and other plants of interest.
I started my horticulture career at San Diego Botanic Garden where I was able to get a wide base of general plant knowledge. I eventually left the Botanic Garden and started working at Rancho Soledad Nurseries, where I started doing more fieldwork and plant hybridizing. Additionally, I worked at Xeric Tissue Culture while it was still operational and in 2018 I moved to Escondido to break ground on Hidden Agave.
